Foolish Wisdom

A wise man is seldom recognized when he is alive because he is far ahead of his time and sets the trend for the future. He has identified the flaws that corrupt consciousness and practices things which may appear contrary to the current trends. People, owing to their limited myopic views, is not able to spot wisdom in wise people. Since the wise man does not corroborate with prevalent trends, he is often viewed as a foolish man.

The wise man, with the power of his wisdom, has made life a lot easier for himself, alas he cannot share it with anyone else because people are caught in a time warp and do not understand the dealings of a truly wise person. The wise man does not bother to change the world since he has outgrown worldly dealings.

Knowledge is not heritable. It is not an asset, thus cannot be possessed. It is not available in books which can simply be acquired through mere reading. We must understand the nature of 'knowledge' first. Knowledge is the source of existence. The very idea of distinguishing one from other that streams from our thoughts is the result of enough churning of knowledge. It is the possibility to grasp reality, an aid for us humans to get a glimpse of the ultimate truth. It is the repository of truth and hence is beyond conception. It may seem a nightmare when you realize that the your loved ones are no more the same. It may be either your friend, spouse, children or other relatives. Your confidence in them has drastically reduced. Why now, today your loved ones seem alien to you? The answer may be vague, perhaps a mix of emotions.
