Believing in oneself is stupidity. It does no assure you a permanent solution as believing is a fluctuating phenomena. We believe in something because we were taught to, but with age and experience we disbelieve those things! Do not try to believe. You are being unnatural in that sense. You are accepting (believing) something blindly just because you were asked to. "Perhaps,it would resolve my problems". If this is your intention, you are highly mistaken. Because, the medicine that works for him might not necessarily, or never work for you. Believing is just an escape mechanism. If you are convince not to believe, then what will you do? It is said that we should depend on God, but what is given here? Let us understand this clearly. When we are surrendered to God completely, we do not own any skill, thought or action. Because, this is the definition of COMPLETE SURRENDER. But, the Lord is ever merciful. He is unlike any other master. In the material world, if we surrender, we are treated as slaves. In fact, surrender means slavery in the material world. Master claim ownership of our our very existence. But, the spiritual laws and definitions are absolute and true. God, takes extra care of his surrendered devotees. They are dearer to God than any other. They are his closest, His own children. What is life? It is a playground for the toddlers, an examination hall for students and workspace for the elder. This is the bifurcation of life in the simplest manner. We all make mistakes. Mistakes are an outcome of partial understanding of the subject. For Example: We make mistakes while doing mathematics due to some fault in our understanding. Even the mistakes we do out of sheer carelessness indicates partial understanding of the subject (in this case Math). Math is not a mere subject, but a collection of many more attributes. It constitutes not just equations, problems, etc. But it is a repository of many more qualities that are essential for our character building. For that matter, any subject, It deals with our innate nature. Everything has something to contribute to our inner well being. Sincere prayer is true prayer. This is what captivates the Lord's attention. People may chant the Lord's name for  years but no refinement is traced in their attitude or approach towards life. This is because their intention towards prayer is not genuine. They have never prayed! Such individuals are selfish and try to strike a deal with God. Such deals go in the domain of Maya devi. Only when we associate ourselves with our emotions and actions do we realize our existence. The driving factor of this incorrigible and spontaneous phenomenon is our mind. When we take ownership of our thoughts,  generated by our mind we get susceptible to the sorrows and happiness presented by material life. Thus, becoming conscious of our thoughts we realize that we are separate from them. They are not a part of us but they are trying to become a part of us. They succeed in their endeavors the moment we associate with them. Introspecting our thoughts, lights up our dark mind, making way for reality. Mind is not a part of this 'self' and hence it is apart from our existence. We can stop this cycle of the mind by surrendering them to God and by leaving it to His will alone. The mayic (illusory) force of energy is controlled by Lord Shiva. He is the husband of Maya Devi. Indeed, attachment is the most dangerous of all vices. It is not easy to forget our loved ones so easily. Without, attachment a man no more remains in a state of distinguishing between friends, enemies and loved ones. Our loved ones, are an extension of our nature. We love them as they are related are connected within, not in the heart... in the mind. Our mind is the repository of all our unconscious nature where attachment too lies. It is the cave which has been coming with us since our many lifetimes. When we look at our dear ones, our mind triggers memories. These memories are just relished by man because he is attached to the emotion. Now, emotion is another form of attachment. We have never paid attention to life. Instead we continue to commit errors after errors. This highlights our frivolous approach towards life. God has done everything to get us out of miseries but we simply reject his Will. Then why blame Him for our doings? Man is attuned to find fault in others. An accurate example is our eyes. It cannot see itself but can only see the world. Thus, we are habituated to find fault with the world and God at times. We never look at our mistakes due to our bloated EGO. This makes us consider ourselves as perfect due to which we make no progress (improvement) in Life. Remember, improvement is a result of realizing one's inefficiency and ignorance. We blame God for not giving us enough insight, to know ourselves. We are being brutally unjust. Love is a mere imagination. It is a hype created by the mind. Nobody, truly loves the other. In fact, it is a facade to impress the other. This impression created helps the other to satisfy their instincts with ease. Love comes and goes with time and age. It is a temporary phase, a play of the hormones. It has got nothing to do with the internal realm of emotions as this emotion leads to satisfying the body. Our heart knows no love of this sort. It is designed to remain in the devotional service  of God. It knows the path of devotion or unconditional love. This emotion is of a very high kind and is unseen in this world. Thus, by talking about love, we waste lifetimes. Every birth we love somebody as we bear a body. Thus, for sense gratification, we chant 'love, love...' True love signifies union while the love we talk about ends right after satisfying our senses. It is no true love, because separation follows it, death being the ultimate reality.

God and the world can termed as opposites. When God is the subject, world becomes the object or when God is divine, the world is thoroughly mundane. In fact there exists only these two realities, God and World, where God is spiritual and the world is material. God and the world can never go hand in hand just like night cannot approach day. Either day has to make way for night or the other way round. Both cannot be experienced together. Thus, only one has significance for man. Similarly, one practicing spirituality a sadhaka must be extremely conscious of the illusory world around. He must never give up his spiritual discipline at any cost. Every material circumstance is the projection of the mundane mind which is the weapon used by Maya devi to deviate one from the goal. Wisdom marks the end of all binding and the start towards the path of truth. One is no longer bound to a particular faith, tradition, custom or belief. This is because he walks the path of truth alone. Religious teachings elaborate a lot on faith, custom and tradition, which is well assimilated by a wise man. The wise have transcended this plane to attain pure knowledge. He becomes one with Knowledge or the Light of truth. Only wisdom sets one free from the shackles of Maya (illusion). Wisdom is the quality of discrimination. It helps one discriminate between the truth and falsehood, between spiritual and material. The power of wisdom emanates from following Dharma as prescribed in our Vedic religion. Following these religious practices with utmost faith and commitment leads us to its final chapter, which is Wisdom. This is the final teaching that religion can offer to set one on the spiritual path. This is the quality that separates a spiritual from the mundane people.

There is only one reality, Truth or the Supreme Absolute. This reality branches into another form, the cause behind the creation of this material world. This form is called Prakriti and another term for the Supreme absolute is Purusha. Thus Prakriti and Purusha are the creators of this world. Prakriti the material force giving rise to millions of illusory worlds and is in charge of its maintenance. Thus Prakriti is all powerful. When we try to change the world, (in this context light the world), we enter into the domain of Prakriti. Our foolishness instigates us to make our presence felt in the world. Through our teachings and ideologies, we try to light up the world with the spark of our Knowledge. But instead we have risked ourselves completely by trying to intervene in the ways of Prakriti. It is true, nobody can be of any help. For any problem we face in life, we look at people for support. They can either be our friends, neighbors, parents or other relatives. 'Help' as a term conveys a vague responsibility. It is rather superficial. True 'help' means directing a person on the path of truth. Nowadays, help is regarded as an act of 'benevolence by mortals'. One must remember that mortals are incapable of helping anybody. In other words, they lack the capacity to help. 'Helping' is an act of selfishness or it is bit more complex. Today, help means comforting the other. 'Help' is considered only when it syncs with our personal thoughts,beliefs, likes, dislikes, experiences and notions. We have ignored God throughout our lives. Instead of utilizing our precious human birth to achieve the highest goal, we choose to pursue degraded professions that involve our mind. The one who has directed his senses towards material comforts and pleasures is the most unfortunate. What is the use of this human body, if we live like animals. We do not deserve this gift, as we satisfy our mind. Instead of 'transforming this animalistic mind' into 'divine' we, 'the divine' are transforming into 'animals'. Success in the material world signifies excess wealth, fame, assets, high status in society, etc. But, look carefully! Every attribute of success can be overtaken by its opposites. Wealth by Poverty, Fame by Disgrace, and Success (as a whole) by Failure. A person, aiming to become successful is indeed shortsighted. People feel that success is the ultimate Goal of Life. We must first understand the meaning of 'ultimate', before we conclude the 'Ultimate Goal of Life'. Ultimate means superior or the goal with no comparisons. Service in the Spiritual spectrum is synonymous to selflessness.The word service in the dictionary itself means working for the other. In the spiritual dialect it has nothing to with the other, but oneself. When we talk of service, we have a dual approach towards it, which distinguishes between the doer and the receiver. This means there is a difference made between the two, where one is superior than the other. This definition is that of the material world. There is a description in the Puranas that Maharaja Manu (The first son of Lord Brahma created for the proliferation of the world) was the ruler of the universe during the period of infancy of the world. The Joy of work is hardly experienced by anyone today. In fact it is the main source of stress in one's life. But why is it like that? Since childhood, one is brought up in a competitive world. We have always looked at work as a source of income and profits. However, this is an incorrect way of looking at things and thus  we are stressed about work.
