The painful help

'They' refers to a man of realization. Helping is an act of obliging the other. The other expresses his gratitude by being bound morally to you. So, it is a transaction, where one is the master and the other is a slave. The helping act was the currency to enslave you. So, it was not truly help as the helped one is used in your favor. This is the nature of HELP offered by the materialistic beings of the world. On the other hand, spiritual beings are not bound to reciprocate to the help offered by other beings.

 They are very well aware of the help rendered in the world, which comprises of sweet talks, expression of gratitude, obliging the other by posing their benevolence, etc. Thus, spiritual beings have accepted the true nature of help unlike that of the world. They are not obliged by the petty helps we render them as we are in debt.

 We (seekers) are indebted to them as they make their presence felt in our lives.They hurt us and thus help us. They hurt us as they care for our well being. This is true help, the epitome of selflessness. 'They hurt the ones who help them' because this is the greatest help we can ever get.

 Due to their involvement with us, we shall understand the depths of their 'love & care' and the fallacy of the world. We shall then grasp the meaning of true help and disregard the so-called help of the world.

Glories of 'Knowledge'

Knowledge is not heritable. It is not an asset, thus cannot be possessed. It is not available in books which can simply be acquired through mere reading. We must understand the nature of 'knowledge' first. Knowledge is the source of existence. The very idea of distinguishing one from other that streams from our thoughts is the result of enough churning of knowledge. It is the possibility to grasp reality, an aid for us humans to get a glimpse of the ultimate truth. It is the repository of truth and hence is beyond conception. It may seem a nightmare when you realize that the your loved ones are no more the same. It may be either your friend, spouse, children or other relatives. Your confidence in them has drastically reduced. Why now, today your loved ones seem alien to you? The answer may be vague, perhaps a mix of emotions. Any change we perceive in the world is a result of the mental makeup of oneself and the other. Your interaction with your loved ones was determined on the basis of your mental framework which may be contrasting to your present mental framework.
