Seeking and Generosity

Being generous to buy the other is the common phenomenon in the world. But, as one subject has various shades, generosity too, has one. Being generous is a conscious act for the cunning as well as the wise. We have  discussed about this in detail for both the classes of men. But today, we shall discuss about the role of generosity in our lives (seekers). Seeking knowledge from enlightened masters is a method of contacting the higher energies.

 However, we are not capable of maintaining pure emotions and intentions for long, as we yet remain material. After having met realized masters and saints, we are yet material because of our attachment to matter. The six vices govern our acts and this means we have no freedom of act. We shall fight for this right, not with the world but with ourselves. Because, our enemies lie within us.

 Against the will of our mind  (house to the vices), we must attempt to get rid of attachment. Being generous with such intentions shall draw the spiritual energy. This energy shall thus help you retain spiritual thoughts and battle negativity,

 Generosity is the key to open the doorways, leading to God.

Glories of 'Knowledge'

Knowledge is not heritable. It is not an asset, thus cannot be possessed. It is not available in books which can simply be acquired through mere reading. We must understand the nature of 'knowledge' first. Knowledge is the source of existence. The very idea of distinguishing one from other that streams from our thoughts is the result of enough churning of knowledge. It is the possibility to grasp reality, an aid for us humans to get a glimpse of the ultimate truth. It is the repository of truth and hence is beyond conception. It may seem a nightmare when you realize that the your loved ones are no more the same. It may be either your friend, spouse, children or other relatives. Your confidence in them has drastically reduced. Why now, today your loved ones seem alien to you? The answer may be vague, perhaps a mix of emotions. Any change we perceive in the world is a result of the mental makeup of oneself and the other. Your interaction with your loved ones was determined on the basis of your mental framework which may be contrasting to your present mental framework. We find ourselves in a dilemma when things don't workout the way we expect it to be. Nothing seems to work. Our confidence is battered every time we try to rebuild it.
